How Femscape Sojourns Was Born

Forming a mother-daughter owned company was a natural decision for Tami and Latifah as they have always maintained a close relationship. Creating a travel company was the perfect fit for them because they started traveling together when Latifah was three months old and either alone or together they have traveled to over 60 countries. Creating a company that focuses on women and caters exclusively to women is a reflection of their efforts to help empower women.

The decision to create three categories of trips (ages 20s-30s; 40+; & mother-daughter), was born out of the realization that women of different ages prefer to partake in different experiences when they travel. The categories are fluid, so if you feel that you are more suited for a group that doesn't fit your age category - feel free to join them. Offering mother-daughter trips was a top priority for the two as they felt that they have more bonding experiences when they explore new cultures together and partake of novel adventures.

They welcome you to join them on their explorations of the world and other cultures!
