Marrakech & Barcelona 2021 Trip

Information About Booking Flights

Please do contact us before you book your ticket so that we can ensure that you have the right dates for arriving and departing. Please also let us know if you need help booking flights.

For this trip, you need to book your flight to arrive in Marrakech’s Menara Airport (code RAK). Plan your arrival anytime during the day of September 24, 2021, and you will be free to explore the souk until the evening when we will all gather for dinner.

We have arranged with the Riad for their driver to pick you up from the airport so we will need your flight information. We have already paid for this service, so there is no charge to you. We will already be in Marrakech, and you will have our cell phone numbers in case you need to reach us. We will be in touch with you after you book with additional information and we will stay in touch with you until the trip date.

If you are coming from North America, we suggest that you book your trip to leave a day early so that you arrive on the first day of the sojourn. If you want to arrive even earlier or stay later, we can suggest various riads or hotels for you.

Our journey ends in Barcelona so you will be departing from the Barcelona Josep Tarradellas Barcelona-El Prat Airport (airport code BCN). The sojourn ends on October 3, 2021, and we will be checking out of the hotel on that day by noon. The hotel can store your luggage if you have a later flight and would like to explore the area until time for your flight.

If you have additional questions before or after booking, please let us know.

In Marrakech, there is a currency exchange at the airport that you may wish to use before you exit the airport. You can change more money at ATMs the day after your arrival.

Travel Insurance

Unexpected events happen in life which can cause you to change your plans. Travel insurance is mandatory for all our travelers and should be taken out at the time of booking. Your travel insurance must provide coverage against personal accident, death, medical expenses, and emergency repatriation with a recommended minimum coverage of USD $200,000 for each of the categories of cover. We also strongly recommend it covers cancellation, curtailment, personal liability, and loss of luggage and personal effects. Most insurance agencies require that you purchase travel insurance within 14 days of booking your reservation. At times, depending on the type of policy you purchase, travel insurance may pay for all or some of your cancellation fees.
