Moroccan Pillowcase
Moroccan Pillowcase
Throughout the Atlas Mountains in Morocco, there are villages where Berber women create intricate weavings of pillowcases, rugs, saddlebags, and wall hangings. This pillowcase was purchased in the souks of Marrakech on our March 2020 trip to Morocco. It is made of cotton and was probably woven by a younger woman since the design is colorful and trendier.
The reverse side is purple stripped. One side of this pillowcase is not sewed together (as in the traditional method of pillowcases in the Arab world) so after you stuff it you must hand sew one side.
Stuffing not included.
The reverse side is purple striped.
Dimensions: 15.5 inches width x 16.5 inches height
